Link Roundup: Online PEG Hubs

In recent years, members of the PEG community are increasingly carrying their conversations about the work they do to the digital sphere. Where are these discussions happening? Read on for a list of known hangouts.
#pegtv on Twitter
If you're using Twitter, just search for #pegtv for a real-time stream of updates. Also popular is its sister hashtag, #communitymedia. To add your own voice to the mix, just append either hashtag to the end of your update.

ACM New Media on Ning
The Alliance for Community launched ACM New Media on Ning, a build-your-own social network site, as a meeting and collaboration space "to gather ideas and post information for Community Media Centers." The site is currently 270+ members strong, and includes forums, groups and the ability to post your own videos and blog posts.
PegMedia.org Forums
PegMedia's primary mission is to serve as a distribution hub and media transfer site for PEG broadcasting content. Their forums, launched in March, are active and growing -- topics include show information, producer interchange, station interchange, and technical questions related to the site.
PEGspace Drupal Group
The PEGspace Drupal group is self-described as "dedicated to organizing developers and users within the Public, Education, Government (PEG) industry nationwide. If you are working on or interested in Drupal to run your PEG center join the group, participate in the forums, develop software and get involved."
Open Media Project Drupal Group
This group is specifically for those interested in following and contributing to the Open Media Project through "development, testing, documentation, training or other resources to make the Open Media modules more usable for both the PEG and Drupal communities."
