Who we are
Jackie Hai is a multimedia producer living in the Boston area. In 2009, she graduated with degrees in journalism and philosophy from UMass Amherst, where she was program director of UVC-TV 19 and helped the station transition to digital workflows and online video distribution. She was also a co-founder and editor of The Amherst Wire.
Currently, Jackie is a multimedia bootcamp instructor in the UMass Journalism program and a Sensemaking Fellow at the Poynter Institute. She blogs about journalism education, public access and civic engagement at jackiehai.com.

Colin Rhinesmith is the Community Media Coordinator for Cambridge Community Television (CCTV), a community media & technology center serving the residents of Cambridge, MA. He is also an Adjunct Lecturer for the Media and Culture Program at Bentley University.
At CCTV, Colin helps Cambridge residents gain the tools, skills and knowledge in media production and media literacy using CCTV’s community television channels and website. Previously, Colin was Digital Media Producer for the Berkman Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University, where he produced online media for MediaBerkman and the Citizen Media Law Project. Richard Caesar is a multimedia journalist and self-professed "idea man" studying at UMass Amherst. Originally from Barbados, he holds an associate's degree in mass communication and is working towards a bachelor's degree in journalism. He's the director of UMass This Week, UVC-TV 19's weekly news show, and an editor of AmherstWire.com.
He was previously a desk reporter at the Barbadian daily metro paper The Nation and a radio news editor, on-air personality and producer at Barbados Community College. In April 2009, he presented "Public Access Partners for Community Journalism" at BarCamp NewsInnovation in Philadelphia. Richard is a member of the Online News Association.

Jason Daniels is the Executive Director of Medfield.TV, the PEG Access TV station serving the community of Medfield, Massachusetts. He has been working in the field of community media for 6 years and working more broadly with digital media for 10 years.
Jason is the founder and producer of the 100-Second Film Festival. He also serves as at-large board member of the Alliance for Community Northeast Region and the Hockomock Film Festival.
